Training recap: Week of 4/29 (DDD / DLH Week 1)

Happy Monday!  This recap is going to be a brief one for me - I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open.  This past weekend was the Flying Pig half and it was a really great weekend.  The race went really well and it was such a fun weekend with the girls.  I will have a full recap of the expo and the race later this week.  But I did fly home this morning on the 6am flight, so I've been up since like 3:15am.  Hello exhaustion. 

This past week was the first week of Dumbo Double Dare / Disneyland Half (further more known as DDD / DLH) and it went well.  I got all my runs in and felt solid (especially in the half).  Week 2 might be a little tougher since I am going home for Mother's Day and some doctor appointments, but I am going to do my best!

Monday - Rest day

Schedule: 3 miles easy
Actual: 3 miles, 30:48, 10:16 pace

Wednesday - Rest day

Schedule: 3 miles easy
Actual: 3 miles, 30:27, 10:09 pace

Friday - Rest day

Schedule: 3 miles easy
Actual: 3.01 miles, 31:28, 10:28 pace 

Schedule: Flying Pig Half Marathon (13.1)
Actual: 13.31 miles, 2:03:55, 9:19 pace

Total weekly miles: 22.32
April total: 77.70
May total: 19.32
