Training recap week of 10/20 (Wine and Dine Week 3)

Hey all!  Hope you all had good weeks - mine has been a bit crazy.  I apologize for the radio silence. Work has been busy and honestly, I haven't felt much like blogging.  Between work and travel, I have been feeling a little overwhelmed (I seem to have overbooked myself again).  It's not a feeling I like, so I am trying to pull back a little and take care of myself.  I didn't sleep well for 2 weeks since I was stressed out.  Not a good feeling.

I am still going to be blogging (I do enjoy it!) but it might be a little bit more sporadic until things calm down.  I have a couple of race recaps to finish (TOT and Baltimore) which I am excited to get done.

This week turned into an unintentional down week.  I ended up having to go away on a work trip Wed-Thurs (which I found out about on Tuesday).  I cut Tuesday's run short because I was stressed trying to get packed for my trip.  While I had intentions of running on my trip, I was feeling a bit under the weather (probably from the lack of sleep and stress) and decided it was better for me to rest those days.  By Saturday, I was feeling much better!
