2 on Tuesday

FYI - This post contains a spoiler alert from last nights How I Met Your Mother.  If you have not watched and want to remain surprised - do not read!

I had to have some blood work done for my doctor's appointments this past weekend.  I don't particularly love needles (although I don't really know anyone who does) but at least this time I made it out unscathed.  I gave blood once in high school (believe it or not in an attempt to get over my fear of needles, but it actually made it worse) and it did not go well.  Not to go into too many details (because it's gross), but basically my vein collapsed with the needle still in it and then when they tried to get it out, they tore skin and then my arm wouldn't stop bleeding.  Then when I sat up, I passed out.  Outside of a giant bruise on my arm afterward, I was fine, but it definitely has stopped me from ever signing up to give blood again.  This time it was (relatively) unpainful and I did not pass out, so I am calling that a success!

Who watched the season finale of How I Met Your Mother last night?  HIMYM has always been one of my favorite shows and I am so glad that we are finally meeting the mother!  I like that she is not someone who dated Ted in the past and she's a new face.  Also, I know it's insane, but she is exactly what I imagined Ted's wife to look like.  While I am sad next year is the last season (sniffle), I am excited to get to know the mother and see how her and Ted meet and fall in love.  Great job HIMYM!

  1. So sad to hear about your blood giving experience!

I don't have cable, so all I get to watch are the reruns of HIMYM and I have no idea what's going on in the current season- BUT I did see an article on Yahoo about it. A little annoyed it didn't say SPOILER but I digress.

This reveal makes me want to have a HIMYM marathon- so I can get caught up and watch next season. But I'm lazy. and just in case SPOILER: Who knew Robin and Barney?! I like that.

    1. Thanks - it was a long time ago and this one went better, so that's good!

I don't know how you do it without cable! That's impressive!
