Hi. It's me. Again. I have been a seriously bad blogger and have managed to not post anything since the middle of November. I wish I could say I had a great reason for it ("I won the lottery and have been traveling the world" or something equally as fun).

But I do not.

Post marathon (which, went amazing - new PR at 3:42 - more to come on that later), things were busy.  First there was Thanksgiving and then it was December, a notoriously busy time at work. The blog just took a backseat to life. I kept telling myself I'd write tomorrow and tomorrow never came. Christmas came next and let's just say... it wasn't exactly my favorite one. A dear family friend (who has always been an aunt to me) passed away unexpectantly right before Christmas, so there was definitely a little sadness in the air. Plus, I've had some personal stuff going on and I needed to focus on me for a bit.

Time kept passing and as it did, it got harder and harder to start typing again. I genuinely love blogging - it allows me to flex my creative muscle and I enjoy it. So now, it's spring. Winter has finally ended and I feel like I am {finally} coming out of whatever shell I was hibernating in. Time to start blogging again.

My goal is to start slowly. I am not going have a goal for a certain number of posts a week or anything like that.  I am going to prioritize getting all my outstanding race recaps up. The races may have happened a while ago, but I want to have it all down on paper for memory sake. And hopefully share some other posts about life, food, whatever is going on. Just going to start slowly and take it one post at a time.
