Training recap week of 10/26 and 11/2 (Route 66 Weeks 15 & 16)

Almost caught up - last couple of weeks!

Week 15

This week was pretty intense - last long run, 22 miles!

Monday
Scheduled: Rest
Actual: Rest

Tuesday
Scheduled: 5 miles easy pace
Actual: 5.0 mi, 48:35, 9:43 pace

Wednesday
Scheduled: Speedwork - 6 miles tempo pace (8:00-8:05), plus warmup and cooldown
Actual: 8:05 total
Paces: 8:38, 8:22, 8:23, 8:39, 8:17, 8:02

This whole tempo was not pretty.  It felt hard the entire time.  Not the greatest confidence builder going into a 22 miler, but here's hoping I got all my crappy runs out of the way before the race.

Thursday
Scheduled: 4 miles easy pace
Actual: 3.27 mi, 34:32, 10:33 pace

Legs did not feel good today either after the tempo run.

Friday
